Who we are
Pinnacle Accounting is an internal app operated by Pinnacle Logistics Group ("Pinnacle", "we"). It connects only to Pinnacle's own QuickBooks Online company. It is not offered to other businesses or to the public.
What we access
With the access an authorized Pinnacle administrator approves in QuickBooks, the app reads and records Pinnacle's own accounting data: accounts, vendors, customers, transactions, bills, journal entries, attachments and reports. When signing in we also receive the signing-in user's basic Intuit profile (name and email) to confirm who connected it.
How we use it
Only to keep Pinnacle's own books: recording and categorizing transactions, preparing reports, closing the month and preparing Pinnacle's taxes. We do not sell, rent or share this data, and we don't use it for advertising.
How we protect it
Access tokens and app credentials are stored encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and only authorized Pinnacle staff can use the app. Data stays in QuickBooks; we keep only working copies needed for reports. We don't collect or store card numbers.
Service providers
We use AI and hosting services to process Pinnacle's own data on our behalf, under their business terms, which do not allow them to use it to train their models.
Disconnecting
A QuickBooks administrator can disconnect the app at any time from QuickBooks (Apps, then Manage connections). After that the app can no longer read or change any data.
